CID Forest Cell sleuths have arrested three persons from Bengaluru on the charge of attempting to sell pangolin scales near Kadri Park in Mangaluru.

The police gave the names of the accused as H.R. Jagadish, 50, Siddu Naika, 38, and Babu, 38, all residents of Bengaluru.

The police seized 5.2 kg of scales and a car from the accused. A team of sleuths headed by police sub inspector G.R. Dilip arrested the accused on Tuesday. The accused were produced before the jurisdictional magistrate, who remanded them in judicial custody, the police said in a press release.
