The Madanayakanahalli police have registered a case under Section 287 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), pertaining to negligent or rash handling of fire or combustible materials endangering life, against Reliance Project and Property Management Service Pvt. Ltd., following a major fire at a warehouse in north Bengaluru.
The complainant, H.S. Padmaraju, on Thursday, stated that he owns a warehouse measuring 60,000 sq. ft. situated at Adakamaranahalli village in Dasanapura Hobli. The property had been leased to the company on March 15, 2012, for commercial use, with the agreement renewed periodically.
