The HAL police have registered an FIR against an unknown person after two drones were found flying in the no-fly zone over the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) campus. Based on the complaint filed by a security officer, Satish Kumar, posted at the ISRO campus, the police registered a case on Saturday, charging the accused under Section 329(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, for trespass and under various sections of the Aircraft Act, 1934.
According to a complaint, the incident occurred on Saturday, at around 8.16 a.m. A drone was allegedly spotted flying at an altitude of approximately 80 to 100 feet above the campus for a duration of 10 to 12 seconds.
