A field survey has flagged several shortcomings, including severe water shortage, as well as dysfunctional coolers and fans, at night shelters run by the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB).
In its report, the Centre for Holistic Development (CHD), an NGO, said it had surveyed 24 night shelters at various locations to assess the Delhi government’s preparedness during the peak summer months.
