Traffic regulations have been announced by the Coimbatore City Police in view of the vote counting for the Assembly Election 2026, scheduled to be held on May 4 at the Government College of Technology (GCT), Thadagam Road.

All vehicles, including government and private buses, proceeding from Gandhipuram towards North Coimbatore Flyover, Avinashilingam College, Bharathi Park Road, GCT and Maruthamalai via Lawley Road will be diverted at Chinthamani Junction. Vehicles will be directed to take a right turn, proceed via East Periyasamy Road, reach Thadagam Road and continue through Lawley Road Roundabout towards Maruthamalai.
