The final round of Group J fixtures at the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicked off on Saturday with Argentina facing Jordan, while Austria takes on Algeria.
Defending champion Argentina has already secured the top spot in the group after wins against Algeria and Austria, while debutant Jordan has been eliminated after losses in its first two games.
Algeria will take on Austria in its final game, and a win for either side will take them to six points and help them qualify as the second-placed team. If the match ends in a draw, Austria will go through due to a better goal difference, while Algeria will sit third and be in a good position to qualify as one of the eight best-placed teams.
