The Google Cloud India AI Hub being set up in Tarluvada, will be inaugurated in September 2028, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for $15 billion data centre being set up in association with Adani Connex and Nxtra by Airtel here on Tuesday, Naidu said Visakhapatnam was the best destination for data centres.
“AP is not focused on MoUs but also on grounding them perfectly,” he said.
The new Google centre will create thousands of jobs, he added. “North Andhra which was known for migration of people for jobs, will now become a destination for migration from other regions for employment,” Naidu said.
Naidu said the Government would further collaborate with Google in others areas as well.
With many other investment projects across energy, IT, ports and core manufacturing, Visakhapatnam will be the best destination for all, he added.
Inviting investors to the State, the Chief Minister said: “Your investments will be safe here.”
Appreciating IT Minister for his active role in securing Google Data centre investment in the State, he said: “I am delegating more powers to him.”
