There are four stpeps to rfollow in order to successfully complete a stakeholder analysis:
1. identify the stakeholders(internal and external)
internal: project managers, project team members, top management, functional managers, support services
external: Financial sponsors, suppliers and contractors, government agencies, individual citizens, the media
2. recognize the stakeholders's roles
3. identify the stakeholders's main interests
4. analyze the ralationships between stakeholders
To appropriately analyze the relationships between stakeholders, ask yourself the following:
1) How will stakeholders respond to project goals?
2) How will stakeholders reactions and interactions with each other affect project success?
