funny c-lo-can, I was gonna say: thru the 1980s, along with Eno, K.LEIMER may have been my fave “ambient” guy. 2:27am↳ Steiner In Amherst @2:10
appreciate seeing your “fantastic planet” image - what a wonderfully odd animation movie that is. Love older stuff from the 60s-70s (& etc).↳ Erik Old Ears 👂 @2:18
ha, the whirled move in mysterious ways!↳ coelacanth∅ @2:27
… well, the track above derives from a 2014 comp of collected (proto?) works from 1975-1983. So considering eno’s ‘another green world’ arrived Nov 1975 it figures YES. and even Leimer’s avant-pop moniker ‘SAVANT’ sounded kinda eno/byrne adjacent. His 1982 ‘Land of Look Behind’ album was my fave at the time. He has way more now than I ever kept up with. Too many artists to follow. 🤷♂️ 🙃↳ Song: "Side A" by "Tom Johnson"
i loved this… thanks india 2:47am↳ coelacanth∅ @2:30
Wiki says: “Fantastic Planet (French: La Planète Sauvage; Czech: Divoká planeta, lit. 'The Wild Planet') is a 1973 surrealist adult animated science fiction art film directed by René Laloux.”↳ Erik Old Ears 👂 @2:39
Thank you. i'll check out Land of Look behind... and maybe on from there!↳ Erik Old Ears 👂 @2:47
i saw la planète sauvage the first time only a few years ago. it was on youboob in it's entirety. there were other short works, or excerpts, by René Laloux which i watched; but i don't remember them. that should be no gauge to how interesting they are! it was probably 430am, drunken, exhausted...↳ i roman @2:57
same for you India, Thank you!↳ Song: "Mellow Heaven Clout" by "Rick Grossman"
Appreciate late night/early morning cheese w/audio whips! 👏🥳👏↳ Song: "Sweet Young Thing" by "Rick Grossman"
