WWE icon Ric Flair revealed he was banned from attending events after he made a threatening phone call to current star Ludwig Kaiser. The issue stemmed from last year’s WrestleMania 41 build between Kaiser’s girlfriend Tiffany Stratton and Ric’s daughter Charlotte Flair. Both women broke script to deliver vicious personal insults in a promo battle that made things quite personal ahead of their match.

Flair shared on Ariel Helwani’s show that WWE banned him over his phone call to Kaiser:

“I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s husband last year, and I wasn’t allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid being threatened by a 76-year-old man, and I can’t go to WrestleMania. Are you kidding me?

I went, okay, I need (his) number. I got it, which I can get anybody’s number I want any minute of any day. And I called him. I said, ‘Hey, when I see you, I’m gonna beat the sh*t out of you.’ So he went like a little b*tch, told Hunter, and I wasn’t allowed to go.”

Kaiser shared the message with Triple H and led to WWE asking Ric to not show up to any of their upcoming events. Flair was livid about not getting invited to WrestleMania last year or this year after putting Triple H and Kaiser in a terrible spot.

Why Ric Flair Wanted To Fight Ludwig Kaiser

The drama between Charlotte and Tiffany featured a promo line from Charlotte claiming that Stratton’s boyfriend Kaiser was in her messages. Ric claimed thar he saw Kaiser replying with a disrespectful line to Charlotte that set him off.

Kaiser implying he has no interest in Charlotte caused Ric to use his WWE connections to get the young star’s phone number. Ric did not shy away from admitting that he threatened to beat up Kaiser next time they were in the same place at the same time.

Triple H was forced to make the big decision of banning Flair when Kaiser rightfully informed him of the threats. Ric doesn’t currently work for WWE and has a legends contract with AEW to make it even stranger than he got involved in such deep WWE drama.

Ric Flair Buried Ludwig Kaiser’s Career

The Helwani interview with Ric continued to see Flair burying Kaiser and anyone else he thought deserved it. Flair trashed Kaiser by stating that the young talent will never go far in the business and insulted his lack of relevance.

“That English kid, he’s gonna go as far in wrestling as a gnat. He’ll be a fly on the wall in a year,” Flair said when discussing why he doesn’t have any respect for Kaiser. WWE felt it was too dangerous of a situation to risk and doesn’t want Flair at any live events now.

Charlotte has yet to comment on this story, and she ended up making peace with Stratton by the end of their feud. The hostile promo exchanges led to a father and a boyfriend having more long-term beef than the actual two women who had the big WrestleMania match.
