SS Lazio and FC Internazionale Milano both named strong starting lineups for the 2025–26 Coppa Italia Final at the Stadio Olimpico, with both managers largely restoring key players after rotating squads during the weekend.

Lazio lined up in a 4-3-3 formation with Edoardo Motta in goal behind a defense featuring Adam Marušić, Mario Gila, Alessio Romagnoli, and Nuno Tavares.

In midfield, Toma Bašić, Patric, and Kenneth Taylor were selected after manager Maurizio Sarri refreshed the midfield setup from the previous Serie A match.

Up front, Lazio relied on Gustav Isaksen, Tijjani Noslin, and Mattia Zaccagni, with Zaccagni declared fit after a late fitness test.

Lazio also missed first-choice goalkeeper Ivan Provedel through injury.

Lazio vs Inter Milan: First Half

FC Internazionale Milano held a 2–0 lead over SS Lazio at half-time in the 2026 Coppa Italia Final after a strong opening performance at the Stadio Olimpico.

The breakthrough came in the 14th minute when Adam Marušić accidentally turned the ball into his own net under pressure, giving Inter an early advantage.

Inter doubled the lead in the 35th minute through captain Lautaro Martínez. The striker finished cleanly after a delivery from Denzel Dumfries, putting Inter firmly in control before the break.

Despite the comfortable scoreline, Inter’s defense faced disciplinary concerns. Yann Aurel Bisseck received a yellow card in the 6th minute, while Alessandro Bastoni was booked ten minutes later.

Lazio struggled to maintain possession in midfield and found it difficult to create clear opportunities. Most of their attacking threat came through quick wide transitions involving Mattia Zaccagni.

Inter looked sharper throughout the first half, controlling the tempo and creating more dangerous moments in attack through Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram.
