Bills quarterback Josh Allen gets emotional over his wife's first Mother's Day.

While the Buffalo Bills added a slew of new players this offseason, quarterback Josh Allen welcomed a new member to his family roster — a baby girl.

Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, announced the birth of their first child together last month. The exact date Steinfeld gave birth remains unclear. She was still pregnant during the Academy Awards on March 15, so their baby arrived sometime between then and April 2.

The famous couple has yet to reveal their baby girl’s name, but on May 11, Steinfeld shared the first photos of their daughter on social media, drawing a heartfelt reaction from Allen.

Steinfeld captioned her Mother’s Day Instagram post, “A day late but simply obsessed with this 💗.”

Allen shared Steinfeld’s post on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “My whole world 🥹.”

Allen and his better half celebrated Steinfeld’s first Mother’s Day at home with brunch and white-frosted floral cake. It seems Allen read Beau Society as she mentioned in last week’s issue that she’d like “a sweet (or savory) Mother’s Day breakfast,” and even included the recipe for “Golden Diner pancakes.”

It’s been a whirlwind of a year for the couple. After tying the knot in Southern California last May, they announced Steinfeld’s pregnancy in December.

Allen didn’t hesitate to say how becoming a father has changed his perspective on April 20. “I think it definitely changes the mindset a little bit,” he told reporters. “I’m very excited. I do think this is going to be the best version of myself — in all aspects, my professional career and my personal life.

“It’s such a blessing. I’ve got an absolute rockstar of a wife that’s doing so many things right now and allowing me to be here right now and be with my teammates. Special times.” When asked if he’s gotten any sleep with a newborn at home, “No,” Allen answered with a laugh. “But I wouldn’t want it any other way. It’s very rewarding.”

Allen also joked about turning 30 on May 21 and the notion of playing past his athletic peak. “And then hopefully, the dad strength kicks in, right? ” he said. “That’s what they say… I think just getting back to playing this game the way I love to play it, having fun, enjoying my teammates, enjoying this game — not focusing on the results and continuing to love the grind — the results will come with that.”
