EXCLUSIVE: VMI Worldwide posted a raft of deals for romantic comedy Perfectly Imperfect starring Dermot Mulroney, Malin Akerman and Brian Austin Green.

The film has sold to Turkey (Limon Yapim), Israel (Red Cape Distribution), Greece (Spentzos Films), Airlines, excluding North America (PictureWorks), France (Factoris), Portugal (Lusomundo Audiovisuals), Australia and New Zealand ( Eagle Entertainment), Spain (Twelve Oaks Pictures), Middle East (Phoenicia Pictures International), Poland( Dimeo), CIS (Volgafilm), India (PictureWorks) while Prorom Media-Trad has acquired it for Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Mulroney stars as a single dad, who sets off on a cruise with his quirky family and childhood friend, Reuben (Green). Onboard, he unexpectedly crosses paths with Meg (Akerman), a woman with whom he once had an awkward and unfortunate date on the mainland.

Smitten with Meg, Reuben asks Jake’s permission to ask her out, which Jake grants. Soon after, Jake begins to develop feelings for Meg and realizes he made a mistake by allowing his friend to pursue her. Throughout the cruise, the pair battle it out, each trying to one-up the other in hopes of winning her affection.

The film was directed by Joseph Nathan Weisman and penned by Wendi Coates. The film was produced by Al Bravo, Eric Brenner, Dan Katzman, Eduard Osipov, Geno Taylor and Joseph Nathan Weisman.
