Hundreds of the biggest names in entertainment and fashion are descending upon the Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight for the annual Met Gala.

The 2026 event is co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams as well as Vogue’s Anna Wintour. Its theme: celebrating Fashion is Art. The night’s honorary chairs are Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos. Zoë Kravitz is among the host committee co-chairs. The host committee at large includes Sabrina Carpenter, Teyana Taylor, Doja Cat, BLACKPINK’s LISA, Elizabeth Debicki, Sam Smith and A’ja Wilson.

Guests to arrive on the carpet include Bill Skarsgård, Charli xcx, Sam Smith, Claire Foy, Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martin, Connor Storrie, Gwendoline Christie, Luke Evans, Sarah Pidgeon and many more.

You can expect to see them all walk the red carpet.

Costume Art will explore a spectrum of thematic body types. It will juxtapose pervasive types—such as the “Naked Body” and the “Classical Body”—with those that have been traditionally overlooked, like the “Pregnant Body” and the “Aging Body.”
