Apart from providing workstations to enterprises, the company provides various value-added services, including IT, InfoSec, payroll, hiring, analytics, account management, concierge and a business networking marketplace

Co-working firm DK Vertex has invested around ₹70 crore to set up seven centres, comprising 10,000 desks, in Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai to meet the rising demand for managed workspaces.

On Tuesday, the company launched one centre in Gurugram with 700 desks. It will sub-lease these seats at ₹14,000-18,000 per desk.

"We have invested ₹70 crore to establish seven co-working centres. Out of these four centres have become operational," said Gagan Arora, Founder & President of Vertex Group.

DK Vertex is part of the Vertex group, which is into business, including a real estate brokerage firm and technology (BPO/KPO) vertical.

Out of these seven centres, Arora said five facilities are in Gurugram, while one each is in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

"One centre is company-owned while six centres are on lease from property owners," he said.

Apart from providing workstations to enterprises, Arora said the company provides various value-added services, including IT, InfoSec, payroll, hiring, analytics, account management, concierge and a business networking marketplace.

It also provides integrated podcast and content studios, as well as ad shoot spaces.

Around 6,000 seats are already operational and 75 per cent occupied, with a further 4,000 built-to-suit seats coming online in the next two months. Across these seven centres, the company is offering seats in a price range of ₹6,000 to ₹18,000 per desk.

Arora said the company would open more centres across tier I and tier II cities to meet rising demand for flexible workstations.

According to Cushman & Wakefield, flexible workspace operators accounted for an 18 per share in the total gross leasing of 21.89 million sq ft during the January-March period across eight major cities.
