
























Assam: Morigaon police achieve major breakthrough, recover stolen items from schools
In a major success against theft-related crimes, Morigaon Police recovered a large quantity of stolen items during a series of operations conducted across different parts of the district from daytime until late night on Friday, June 19.
The recovered items were reportedly stolen from various schools in the district. During the operation, police also arrested one person allegedly involved in the thefts.
The arrested individual has been identified as Anarul. Police sources said that several other persons believed to be connected to the theft network are currently absconding. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the remaining suspects, and the investigation is continuing.
Addressing a press conference, Additional Superintendent of Police of Morigaon district, Kankan Kumar Nath, informed the media about the recovery operation and the progress of the investigation.
Police have stated that further raids are being conducted and more arrests are expected in connection with the case.
