Recently John Kerry spoke out against free speech - as he described it as "misinformation".

Hi spodiodi!
:
Good evening. I’m convinced this is the real reason they legalized pot, since that’s one of the laws that millions of ordinary people routinely broke. Pot users would have been up in arms over surveillance, but now you don’t really have to worry about it so they can go back to the comfortable “I’ve got nothing to hide” category.

Just the other day, Hillary called for increased limits on free speech, otherwise "we lose total control".

that does make a lot of sense. plus the workload of policing of all that weed action

People say “We’re democracies so we can have the infrastructure of dictatorships and be fine.” That was such an excellent point!

I kinda like some of the AI artwork I've neen seeing on the 'net. On Youtube yesterday, I saw an ad featuring an illustration of a '50s era housewife wearing a dress, preparing food in the kitchen. Everything looked really good, except for her legs which were backwards.

I would be inclined to say that the Constitution of the United States makes it perfectly clear that there are no infringements on the 1st amendment.

Drugs are the largest commodity in the world. Where is all that $ going…
in the United States we have the right to determine our own behavior with the corresponding obligation to take responsibility for our actions… the law has the ability to make a crime out of things that are not crimes- that is the issue. “The juridical discourse brings to life that which it pronounces”

If people like John Kerry or Hillary Clinton (barf) ever get in the driver's seat, the American people are in very deep do- do.

Everything tracked for me until Silkie Carlo promoted Elon Musk's social media platform. That's becoming a deal-breaker for me.

Mark, you can just call it the Corptocracy.

Hey Mark, thanks. APU, great topic. I never knew that that happened to the truckers. That's awful. I'll be signing up for the Big Brow Watch email
:
I wonder what the thinking is of protests designed to prevent others from speaking. My politics began to shift in the 90s when I observed a flyer on a telephone pole in San Francisco, calling for people to come to Berkeley to protest a neo-Nazi from speaking. Now I hate the whole Nazi thing as much as the next guy, but still I thought "this is the home of the free speech movement?".
:
ACLU thinking, Billybob, has worked *so well* thus far !
♥
:
Baby? I am America
:
Oh, the protest in my previous comment was designed to prevent the neo Nazi from speaking.

I looked for Big Brother Watch on my favorite non-Billionaire-mediated social media agglomeration, Mastodon...
