It all comes down to this match for Sweden and Poland on Tuesday, as the two teams battle it out at the Nationalarenan in this FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying playoff final.

The hosts come into this decisive showdown having claimed a convincing 3-1 win over Ukraine in its playoff semifinal in Valencia last Thursday. But the Poles had a tougher ride at home against Albania, edging past the Red and Blacks with a narrow 2-1 win thanks to goals from Robert Lewandowski and Piotr Zieliński in their semifinal. The odds aren't in the visitors' favor coming into this crucial game however, with Poland's last victory against the Swedes coming in a 3-0 friendly win in Stockholm all the way back in 1930.

The spoils for today's victor is a place in this summer's tournament, lining up alongside the Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia in Group J.

Sweden takes on Poland at the Nationalarenan in Stockholm on Tuesday, March. 31. Kickoff is set for 8:45 p.m. CEST local time in Sweden. That makes it a 7:45 p.m. BST start in the UK and Ireland and a 2:45 p.m. ET or 11:45 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada. For viewers in Australia, the game gets underway at 5:45 a.m. AEDT on Wednesday morning.

How to watch the Sweden vs. Poland match from anywhere with a VPN

If you're traveling abroad and want to keep up with all the World Cup qualifier action while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming.

It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds. Additionally, it can be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, providing an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security.

However, some streaming services may have policies restricting VPN use to access region-specific content. If you're considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform's terms of service to ensure compliance.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider's installation instructions, ensuring you're connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN use is crucial.
