On Tuesday evening, the Miami Heat will be in North Carolina to play the Charlotte Hornets for the play-in tournament.
They played their final game of the regular season (on Sunday) when they beat the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 143-117.
Pelle Larsson did not play in the game.

For Tuesday’s game, the Heat could remain without Larsson.
He is listed as questionable on the injury report.
Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald wrote: “Pelle Larsson (lower leg contusion) listed as questionable for tomorrow’s play-in game vs. Hornets in Charlotte. Nikola Jovic and Dru Smith are out. Rest of Heat roster expected to be available.”

Larson finished the regular season with averages of 11.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest while shooting 49.6% from the field and 32.3% from three-point range in 70 games.
He is in his second NBA season (all with Miami) after being selected with the 44th pick in the 2024 Draft.

The Heat finished the season as the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 43-39 record.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games (and have won two in a row).
On the road, the Heat are 17-24 in the 41 games they have played outside of Miami.

The Heat are coming off a year where they got to the NBA playoffs (via the play-in tournament).
However, they got swept in the first round by Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The franchise last reached the NBA Finals in 2023 (and won a title in 2013).

The Hornets finished the regular season as the ninth seed with a 44-38 record.
They have won six out of their last ten games (and are 21-20 at home).
The franchise is looking to make the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2016 (when they still had Kemba Walker on their roster).
