Meanwhile, the human rights lawyer offered more sound guidance. 

“I think we want them to stay curious,” she explained, “ask lots of questions and challenge the things that don’t make sense to them like much of what’s going on in the world.”

Nodding to his other half’s informed response, George quipped, “You see, my wife, she gives an elegant answer, and then I give the important answer.”

But there are some tips that come best from dad.

As Amal joked, “And ask your dad when it comes to drinks!”

Recently, the Oscar winner shared how his kids have taught him a lesson in slowing down.

"I'm not going to be doing a whole lot of major studio kinds of films," George told Variety in an interview published last December. "The films that I'm going to be working on for the most part are going to be smaller. If I'm going to go off and do something and be away from my kids, there has to be a real creative reason for it." 

As he put it, "Money isn't an issue for me anymore."

The privilege to make that choice isn't lost on him, either. Indeed, the Ocean’s Eleven actor—who tied the knot with Amal in 2014—is grateful he can be particular about going after new roles.

"Most of my successes were middle-of-the-road hits," he reflected. "That's lucky, because I was never typecast. I could do all kinds of things. I could do movies that were very serious, like Michael Clayton, and then do something wild like Burn After Reading." 

As he explained, "It meant that once I couldn't kiss the girl anymore, I could still have a career."
