Teddi Mellencamp Reveals She's Dating an Older Man Amid Stage 4 Cancer Battle
Teddi Mellencamp is getting real about her health.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared that her doctor refused to prescribe her GLP-1s for weight loss amid her ongoing stage 4 cancer journey.
After her guest podcast cohost Dolores Catania shared that she's "going full force" on the weight loss drugs on the April 23 episode of her Two T's in a Pod podcast, Teddi shared that she asked her physician if she could start them herself.
"I want to let you know that I asked my cancer doctor," the All In with Teddi founder said. "I am a health and wellness coach who's dying of cancer. And because I gained weight from the steroids, because I'm getting bigger from the steroids, I asked my doctor if I could please have GLP-1s."
She added, "And he was like, 'No!'"
Dolores lamented that Teddi was denied the medication.
"I'm so sorry someone told you no," the Real Housewives of New Jersey star said, "but I don't know that I'd listen!"
And Teddi, 44—who shares kids Slate, 12, Cruz, 11, and Dove, 6, with ex Edwin Arroyave—joked that she has other ways of procuring GLP-1s if she really wanted to take them.
"I mean, I know people where I could get it," she explained. "I have friends that do it."
After Dolores jokingly advised her to "tell your doctor to shut up," Teddi called out the mixed messages that she's received from her medical team.

"So rude. Let me live," she exclaimed. "You tell me to live my best life, but I don't even get… Live your best life? Where are my GLP-1s?"
The podcast host added, “F--ker!"
Teddi’s candid admission comes after she recently revealed another tidbit of her personal life: She’s started dating an older man.
And they also haven't addressed how they'll navigate the more intimate moments of their relationship amid Teddi's cancer treatment.
"These are the things that I haven't brought up on these dates," she explained. "I'm taking it slow with him. Normally that hasn't been my past."
But, as she shared, he's been supportive and understanding about the realities of her health.

"These are the things that I haven't brought up on these dates," she explained. "I'm taking it slow with him. Normally that hasn't been my past."
But, as she shared, he's been supportive and understanding about the realities of her health.
"He's pretty good about it," the Bravo alum acknowledged. "He's a relatively positive and logical person in general."
"But the thing that I like the most about him," she continued, "is he makes me laugh."
