Gracie Abrams is our summer 2026 cover star!

While her forthcoming album, Daughter from Hell, promises a whole new chapter for the singer (she calls it a snapshot of a woman in progress), Abrams has already carved out a distinctive look, vacillating between whimsical dresses and boyish separates.

Off-duty, Abrams is liable to wear sporty track pants, colorful bandanas, and slogan tees. But onstage and on the red carpet, the singer prefers breezy, embellished dresses—often hailing from Chanel. The singer has made a powerful fashion ally in the French house (she is both an ambassador and the face of Chanel’s fine jewelry line), who fashioned her a custom gold Klimtian dress for the 2026 Met Gala and a sequined two-piece set to cheer on boyfriend Paul Mescal at the Oscars. But Abrams’s relationship with the house reaches beyond Matthieu Blazy’s tenure: the studio team turned Abrams into a bona fide Chanel bride on the occasion of the 2025 Grammys.

But Abrams’s style isn’t relegated to just one brand. For her 2025 Glastonbury performance, she mixed her off-duty headwear with a gauzy burgundy Rodarte gown, while she tested out her sexy side at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party in a tea-length Prada dress with a plunging neckline. She’s also keen to take a chance on a young talent. At the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Abrams wore a yellow smocked velvet gown by New York designer Colleen Allen.
