On Wednesday evening, the Houston Rockets will host the Los Angeles Lakers in Texas.

The Rockets are coming off a 100-92 loss to the Lakers (also at home) on Monday.

Alperen Sengun did not play in the game.

Rockets Make Notable Change To Injury Report Before Lakers

For Wednesday’s game, the Rockets have announced their injury report.

Sengun is no longer on the injury report (and will be available on Wednesday).

Underdog NBA wrote: “Alperen Sengun (back) not listed on injury report for Wednesday.”

Sengun is having a very productive season with averages of 20.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 50.3% from the field and 27.9% from three-point range in 58 games.

He is in his fifth NBA season (all with the Rockets).

Real App wrote (on February 25): “Alperen Sengun now has the 10th most 25/10/10 games by a center in NBA history. He’s 23 years old…”

Rockets After Latest Lakers Loss

The Rockets are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 41-26 record in 67 games.

They have won five out of their last ten games (and are 23-9 at home).

Following the Lakers, the Rockets will play their next game on Friday night when they host Jalen Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks.

Over the summer, the Rockets added Kevin Durant by making a trade with the Phoenix Suns.

The 2014 MVP gives them a superstar to rely on in the NBA playoffs that they have not had since James Harden.

The Lakers are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 43-25 record in 68 games.

They have won six in a row (and nine out of their last ten).
