Shocking video shows a police officer punching a teenager several times as she tried to arrest him at Fairfield High School in the Bay Area — as concerns about her past are revealed.

The cop, who has not been named, appeared to strike 16-year-old Maurice Williams multiple times as she attempted to detain him following a school fight last week.

Fairfield police described the hits as “distraction strikes” that took place before the student was restrained. Family members of Williams disagree, saying he was “beaten like a dog.”

“No parent or family member should ever have to watch their loved one being treated that way,” his stepmom said in a press conference last week.

A bodycam video shows a male officer detaining one student and escorting him to the school office before another student begins taking video of him, then fleeing.

He resists the officer’s attempts to arrest him before the officer appears to restrain the second student.

The second student, Williams, then appears to turn toward the officer before he’s shoved to the ground. Bodycam from the second officer, the female, shows her screaming at the student and striking him multiple times.

“Give me your f–king hands,” she yells. Williams is then handcuffed, as several onlookers watch.

Police said both students were arrested for “causing a disturbance on a school campus and resisting arrest.” Cops said sharp objects were found in the backpacks confiscated during the fight.

During the bodycam video, Williams can also be seen allegedly fighting a school official, according to the Fairfield PD.

Another person, Myah Hamilton, said she was involved in an altercation during a traffic stop with the female officer when Hamilton was 18. Video shows her being yanked out of her car by her shirt and hair by the same officer who allegedly hit Williams.

A police report showed Hamilton was pulled over for speeding and failing to yield for emergency lights.

“The same thing that happened to that poor boy happened to me,” Hamilton told ABC 7.

“She should have never been able to continue to be a police officer, they call you guys peace officers to bring peace, not to sit there and bring commotion and cause more problems than there already was,” Hamilton added.

Community advocates blamed police for escalating the situation.

“This is a pattern of aggression, this is a pattern of excessive force, this is a pattern that Fairfield PD is allowing to have happen in this community,” said Berry Accius, a community advocate with Voice of the Youth.

The Fairfield PD says the officer has been reassigned.

“The officer has been administratively reassigned in the department as we navigate this emotional and challenging time,” the Fairfield police chief said last Friday.
