Stephen A. Smith has always seemed like someone who wanted to try his hand at being in WWE, and he could get his chance.
A recent report from Fightful Select said that ESPN is “pleased and enthusiastic” about Smith getting involved with the partnership with the “Worldwide Leader” being the home of WWE PLEs.
Smith, who said last month that WWE CEO Nick Khan talked to him about WWE but he wasn’t courageous enough to make the jump, was booed while being shown in the crowd during Night 1 of WrestleMania. He continues to be mentioned by Danhausen on WWE television after cursing the ESPN star — and at first his Knicks before a fan paid him to lift it — during WrestleMania week.
Some sort of collaboration certainly makes sense.
