We've been tracking Metallica Sphere prices for months. H...

On Feb. 25, Metallica announced their 2026-27 ‘Life Burns Faster’ Las Vegas Sphere residency.

At the time, the run was only for eight concerts — or four “no repeat weekends” where they play two overlap-free sets on Thursdays and Saturdays — in October ’26.

Due to overwhelming demand, the Rock Hall of Famers extended their Sin City stint into March 2027 and settled on 24 concerts at the visually-spectacular venue.

And, now, that the initial hype has died down and we’re months out from the first Sphere show, we were curious how much the cheapest tickets were to see James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, Robert Trujillo and the band live on the Strip.

So, we dug in.

Based on our findings, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one Sphere concert was $367 including fees on SeatGeek (which is almost $100 cheaper than when we last reported on prices a little more than two months ago).

In the event you’re planning on attending a two-show ‘No Repeat Weekend,’ prices start at $537 including fees.

Prior to this Sphere stay, Metallica toured their 2023 album “M72” all over the world and played a pair of concerts at most cities they stopped in at.

Typically, the heavy group rocked fan favorites like “Master of Puppets,” “Seek & Destroy,” “Sad But True,” “Nothing Else Matters” and “Creeping Death” on night one shows and saved “Enter Sandman,” “One,” “Ride The Lightning,” “Whiplash” and “Blackened” for night two.

After attending their first Philly concert in May 2025, Sonic Perspectives raved “the crowd surged and pulsed to each song like a living, breathing force from which Metallica drew their energy.”

“James‘ voice rose above the thunderous wall of sound from microphone stands placed around the perimeter of the circular stage…his blistering, galloping guitar work set the stage for his soul-shaking vocals, which cut a lightning bolt—each lyric delivered with such raw intensity that you can feel the heat of the moment from when it was written, like on ‘Master of Puppets’ and ‘Seek and Destroy.’”

We can’t wait to hear what that sounds like at Sphere with their immersive sound, wraparound visuals on the world’s highest resolution LED display, vibrating haptic seating and environmental effects like “wind, temperature changes and specific scents,” according to Madison Square Garden Entertainment.

Metallica new music

On April 14, 2023, Metallica dropped their 11th studio album “72 Seasons.”

The thrumming, high-velocity record quickly sets the tone with the non-stop thrill ride title track and then refuses to let up throughout its healthy 77-minute runtime.

Indisputable highlights include the snaking “Sleepwalk My Life Away,” nakedly raw “You Must Burn!” and unrelenting “Lux Æterna.” Don’t expect a second to breathe; Metallica goes hard the entire time with nary a moment to rest. Just the way it should be.

To hear for yourself, you can listen to “72 Seasons” here.
