Giants teammate not happy with Jaxson Dart hyping up Trum...

One of Jaxson Dart’s Giants teammates was stunned that his quarterback introduced President Donald Trump during a rally on Friday.

Dart, who came to the stage with “Eye of the Tiger” playing, was on hand at Rockland Community College in Suffern as Trump promoted tax cuts he signed last year. The second-year star began his appearance with a chant before bringing Trump to the stage, calling it an “honor” to be there.

“Big Blue nation, it’s a pleasure to be here,” he said. “I gotta start this off with a ‘Go Big Blue [chant].’”

The moment seemed to catch linebacker Abdul Carter off guard.

“Thought this s–t was AI, what we doing man,” Carter, who was drafted third overall in 2025 — 22 spots before the Giants then selected Dart — wrote on X on Saturday morning in response to a video of Dart’s appearance.

Former Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes questioned whether Carter should have called out Dart in such a public way.

“The locker room is a sacred place because it brings together everyone from all walks of life and beliefs for one common goal,” Tynes said. “Calling a teammate out publicly for his political views and to get attention is nasty work.”

Dart, 23, appears to be the Giants’ answer in their quest to find a true franchise quarterback since Eli Manning retired in 2020.

The former Ole Miss star, brought an energy and swagger to the position during his 14 appearances and 12 starts last season, despite the team going 4-8 in his starts.

He finished with 2,272 passing yards, 15 touchdowns to five interceptions and a 63.7 percent completion percentage. He also added 487 rushing yards and nine scores on the ground. Dart drew high praise from Trump, who also noted the QB’s legs looked like “tree trunks.”

“I want to thank Jaxson Dart, this is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book,” Trump said. “Thank you, thank you Jaxson. Lot of talent.”

Carter, who got off to a slow start to his rookie season but finished with 43 tackles, four sacks and two fumble recoveries, is still considered a cornerstone of the Giants’ defense under new coach John Harbaugh.

The Super Bowl-winning coach’s arrival has heightened expectations around the Giants and Dart this season, with the QB and Carter both expected to play key roles in turning the franchise around after three straight losing seasons.
