Everyone is waiting for UFC Freedom 250 viewership numbers, and Joe Rogan claims to have the inside scoop — no matter how outrageous the figure.

On the latest edition of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” the enigmatic podcaster and UFC color commentator said that nearly half the country’s population watched the White House card.

“I don’t know what the total overall views are as of now, but I know that it was 150 million just by Monday,” Rogan said to guest Chase Hughes on the show. “So that’s like the night of, and then people that watched the replay that weren’t there when the fight took place because they heard about it.”

One-hundred-and-fifty million people is about 40 percent of the entire country’s population and would beat anything we’ve ever seen in terms of viewership of a sporting event — including the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl 2025 had an obscene viewership of 127.7 million, the most of any sporting event in television history.

“Between [Monday] and now, it’s probably another 50 or 60 million people,” Rogan concluded.

This number is highly improbable for the event, given it was behind a paywall on Paramount+, whereas the Super Bowl is on cable television each year.

Paramount + had 79 million subscribers, as of earlier this year.

Many were upset that Paramount did not broadcast the White House card on CBS.

Perhaps Rogan was given a figure from the UFC that included YouTube clips and social media impressions.

Official numbers have not yet been released by Paramount, although their subscriber figure is said to have increased massively during the night of the fight.

Sports Business Journal reported that Paramount+ app downloads jumped 276 percent from their prior 30-day average, while daily active users rose 34 percent on the day of the card.

Rogan is not a reporter and is probably unfamiliar with how television audience figures are captured by tracking services.

At the UFC Freedom 250 post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White said he received a call from Paramount CEO David Ellison about the event’s success.

“I just got off the phone with David Ellison; he’s going crazy,” White told reporters. “I’ll let Paramount make their own announcement, but it was monstrous tonight. You don’t get calls from billionaires flipping out too often. He is extremely excited. I’ll let [Paramount] do their thing.”

An announcement from Paramount regarding viewership numbers is expected before the end of the week.
