What do the cheapest last-minute Eagles 2026 farewell tou...
Matt Levy · 2026-05-01 · via New York Post

At this point, no one can accuse The Eagles of an Irish goodbye.

For nearly the past three years, Don Henley and co. have embarked on an expansive farewell tour that started in earnest with a triumphant arena tour before the Rock Hall of Famers settled in at Las Vegas’ Sphere for a record-breaking residency.

Now, that they’ve wrapped their Sin City stint, the “Hotel California” hitmakers have entered the “stadium phase” of the ‘Long Goodbye Tour’ with Tedeschi Trucks Band joining them on select dates.

In addition to visiting stadiums and ballparks, ‘Act III’ will also send the classic rock icons to a festival and intimate (for them) 7,000-seat theater.

These shows are slated to take place at:

New Orleans Jazz Festival
New Orleans, LA
Sunday, May 2

Truist Park
Atlanta, GA
Tuesday, May 5
with Tedeschi Trucks Band

FirstBank Stadium
Nashville, TN
Saturday, May 9
with Tedeschi Trucks Band

Hard Rock Live
Hollywood, FL
Wednesday, May 13

Globe Life Field
Arlington, TX
Saturday, May 16
with Tedeschi Trucks Band

If you’d like to be there, last-minute tickets are available for all five gigs…that actually might be Eagles’ goodbye for real.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one ‘Long Goodbye Tour Act III’ concert was $89 including fees on SeatGeek.

Other spring Eagles shows start anywhere from $152 to $412 including fees.

Based on our findings at Set List FM, the six-time Grammy winners typically perform 20 songs per show. Fan favorites that almost always make the cut include “Life In The Fast Lane,” “Take It Easy,” “Desperado,” “Tequila Sunrise” and, of course, “Hotel California.”

The group also makes an effort to pay tribute to both Henley and Joe Walsh’s solo careers as well often playing “Boys of Summer,” “Life’s Been Good” and “Rocky Mountain Way.”

“Henley’s vocals were handsomely raspy if not quite as soulful as in the days when David Geffen called him Golden Throat,” The Los Angeles Times reported in a review of a 2024 concert.

“Gill and Deacon Frey summoned the yearning in Glenn Frey’s singing yet left out the sneer that gave a tune like ‘Lyin’ Eyes’ such emotional complexity. But even when a lead vocal came up slightly short, the group’s trademark harmonies kept the music aloft.”

For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about Eagles’ brief spring 2026 ‘Long Goodbye Act III Tour’ below.

The Eagles band members

When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.

Still, after 50+ years together, 78-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the timeless ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.

At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 78-year-old Joe Walsh (who also fronted The James Gang), 78-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist, who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 30-something son, Deacon.

Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed away in 2016) and Randy Meisner (he left this mortal coil in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he recently toured with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a show in 2025.

Over the course of the group’s half-century together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums.

Tedeschi Trucks Band

On top of the three-show run with Eagles, Tedeschi Trucks Band has shows all over North America from May through October this year.
