While stars like Rita Ora and Hilary Duff got an advance preview of Charlotte Tilbury’s latest, the rest of us had to wait until this week (giving us serious FOMO).
Available in 12 colors — in matte and satin finishes — the iconic makeup brand just debuted Exagger‑Eyes Easy Eyeshadow Sticks, a first of its kind for the line.
Promising 24-hour, humidity-proof, crease-proof and waterproof wear, the swipe-on-and-go glam-makers’ early reviews are as glowing as the ultra-flattering shades.
Brand founder Charlotte Tilbury says she’s bottled 30 years of artistry in this latest drop, which comes in a color palette including bare nudes, taupes, deep chocolates and sultry cherry-cola hues.
Duff’s MUA Kelsey Fisher used the eye makeup for the actress’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover photo shoot, including the shade Cashmere Sculpt, a neutral taupe nude.
However, no glam squad is needed to apply — you can literally just draw the eyeshadow directly on your lids, then blend with fingertips or a brush for an effortless, flawless look. Conveniently, some colors mirror other formulations in the line.
The satin shades have a wee bit of sparkle, but not too much for daytime or mature skin, according to the reviews (many of which include photos). They are even gentle enough to use on your water line.
“I cannot believe how lovely this goes on, and to have eyeshadow in a stick is such a fab idea. The shade is a lovely neutral colour but has that glittery shine which gives any look a lovely glam lift!” raves one fan, who adds that the stick format makes them especially convenient for travel.
“It stays on all day and doesn’t appear to transfer or smudge easily,” the same person added.
A second shopper echoes the sentiment, saying, “I’m not one to spend a lot of time applying makeup; in fact, I had to look up how to use an eyeshadow pen, but I found it to be quick and easy, subtle but pretty, with smooth texture that didn’t gather in creases.”
