An Oklahoma family was sent into a panic when its Golden Retriever strolled through the door with an unexpected guest — a live armadillo dangling from its mouth.

Matriarch Alycia Napier of Allen shared an Instagram video of the harrowing moment — captured by her home security camera — and it quickly shot viral fame with over 38 million views.

Although her children can be seen running and screaming in the clip, telling their pup Bingo to drop the animal, the brazen pooch still enters the residence, and comes back out — without the armadillo.

Napier, who posted the initial video on June 5, shared a second video a few days later, to give an update on the situation, explaining that Bingo went back into the home, retrieved the armadillo, and brought it outside again.

“And stood there looking at me like, ‘What do you want me to do with it?”’ said Napier.

Bingo eventually dropped the armadillo, which scurried away to her neighbor’s yard.

She added that she’s sure the creature will return, since armadillos have been “tearing up” her yard for months.
