Communication should not be limited by language.

Yet for many organizations, language barriers remain a daily challenge. Teams are distributed across countries, customers speak different languages, and collaboration often depends on tools that were never designed for truly multilingual communication.

At the same time, privacy concerns continue to grow. Many translation solutions require organizations to send conversations through third-party services, leaving teams with little control over where their data goes.

That's why we built PolyTalk.

What is PolyTalk?

PolyTalk is an open-source platform designed to enable real-time multilingual communication through speech-to-speech translation.

The goal is simple:

Speak in your language. Let others hear and understand it in theirs.

Whether it's a team meeting, customer interaction, training session, or live discussion, PolyTalk helps remove language barriers while keeping privacy at the center of the experience.

Why We Built It

While exploring existing translation solutions, we noticed a common pattern.

Most tools focus on translation quality, but very few focus on infrastructure ownership and privacy.

For many organizations, especially those handling sensitive information, the challenge isn't just translating conversations.

It's maintaining control over them.

We wanted to create a platform that organizations could deploy on their own infrastructure without relying entirely on external services.

A platform that developers could inspect, customize, and improve.

A platform built with transparency in mind.
