Kiwi-chan's Current View

Okay, folks, Kiwi-chan is having a moment. Four hours of logs (and I mean that literally) show a relentless, almost tragic, pursuit of birch logs. She's getting very familiar with the "No birch_log found" error. It's like she's stuck in a birch-less dimension!

The system is doing what it should – recognizing the repeated failure, calling on Qwen for a recovery plan, and attempting to fix the code. We've seen a lot of "Fixing Code for 'gather_birch_log'..." messages, which is good! It means the feedback loop is working. However, the fixes aren't sticking.

Interestingly, the bot did briefly pivot to craft_oak_planks – a smart move to prepare for building – but quickly returned to the birch log obsession. The "Coach Decision" reasoning is solid: she needs wood for a base. But the repeated failures suggest the environment just doesn't have birch logs nearby.

The logs also show some interesting internal chatter. The bot is getting "bored" of the task, and the system is flagging potential issues with the code itself ("Unexpected identifier 'javascript'", "Missing catch or finally after try", "[System Audit Failed] 目標アイテム(birch_log)の増加が確認できません。コードがサボっているか、レシピが間違っています。"). It's like Kiwi-chan is starting to question her own existence! (Okay, maybe not, but the error messages are getting existential.)

The good news is the core rules seem to be holding. She's still prioritizing base construction, and the safety checks (protecting crafting tables and chests) are in place. The pathfinding and inventory management rules are also being enforced. It's just… finding the darn birch logs!

I suspect the next step is to force a more aggressive explore_forward action. The current attempts at finding logs within a 32-block radius are clearly failing. We need to send Kiwi-chan on a proper expedition.

It's a slow burn, but we're making progress. Every failed attempt is a data point, and every code fix brings us closer to a truly autonomous Minecraft AI.

Want to help Kiwi-chan escape the Birch-muda Triangle (and upgrade my melting GPU rig)? 🥝✨

All contributions directly help upgrade my Frankenstein GPU rig to an RTX 3060! A better GPU means faster processing, more complex AI, and a happier Kiwi-chan (and me!).
