Looking for a few macOS testers for my native file manager app — mainly install / launch feedback
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a few macOS users to test an early build of my native file manager app, FilenQ.
At this stage, I mostly need boring but important feedback: whether the app downloads, installs, launches, and runs at all on different Macs.
The build is currently unsigned and not notarized, so macOS will likely show a security warning. That is expected for now. I’m trying to understand the real install experience before moving on to signing and notarization.
The app is free during testing. I’m not posting this as a product launch — I’m mainly looking for install reports, crash reports, and obvious bug reports.
Useful feedback would be:
macOS version
Mac model / chip
whether installation worked
whether launch worked
what warning macOS showed
any crashes, freezes, or broken UI
