Before we get into that, thank you everyone who participated in the "What's your WPM" challenge! Here are the winners for the month!

Winner of the 1-minute Challenge! 🏅

@j471n With a 121 WPM with 98% accuracy!

Winner of the 5-minute Challenge! 🏆

@jonmarkgo With a 114 WPM with 98% accuracy!

✨ Dev.to Posts Highlights! ✨

Here is one of the posts I am proud of for this month!

Made a post under the Virtual Coffee Organization for the first time! This post talks about things to look for if you are still learning as a developer!

Here is the top 3 posts that I have discovered that stood out to me!

@georgekobaidze A guide on making your project stand out by having these essentials for your README!

@embernoglow Talked about his first game jam experience and things he has learned about Game Development!

@konark_13 A kind of broke boi created a Real Estate application, for the April Fools challenge, where you can buy planets (Great job if anything regardless).

Monthly Discovery 🔍

  • 🔍 Claude Mythos = Ultron?

  • 🔍 Pewdiepie's AI beats ChatGPT.

  • 🔍 A fun one! Destroying a Pay-to-Win Minecraft Server with HTML code.

Accomplishments 🏆

  • One PR got merged onto Forem!
  • ✅ Created the "Open Sourcerer" series!
  • ✅ Now a Full Member of Virtual Coffee!
  • ✅ Continued interacting with the Dev.to community.

Still working on... 🔨

  • 🔨 The last Dev Log for the EasyPollVote App for now. Should be release this week!

Goals for Next Month 🎯

  • 📝 Continue Forem Contribution.

Note: Due to the surges of Pull Request recently, I might have to hold it off due to the unusual amount of Pull Requests on Forem. I heard something about AI Agents causing this, but that is just a theory.

  • 📝 Clean up Resume.
  • 📝 Clean up my portfolio and publishing it on Dev.to for Review.
  • 📝 Continue interacting with the Dev.to community.

Feedback 💬

  • What else should I do for May?
  • Any questions/comments/advice or tips for the Monthly Report? Leave a comment below! I would love to hear from you!
