But more than just passing, I'm proud of the journey, consistency, and the amount of learning that happened throughout the process.

When I first started preparing, the syllabus felt overwhelming. There were moments where concepts didn't click immediately, practice scores were inconsistent, and balancing preparation with daily responsibilities was challenging. Still, I kept showing up every day - even on days when motivation was low.

What helped me the most was focusing on:

Understanding concepts deeply instead of memorizing Practicing consistently Revising weak areas repeatedly Learning from real-world examples and hands-on practice

Resources That Helped Me

These were incredibly valuable during my preparation:

Course : https://kodekloud.com/courses/kubernetes-and-cloud-native-associate-kcna

Practice Tests: you can use same KodeKloud practice test you can find in same KCNA course or https://certyiq.com/practice-test/linux-foundation/kcna

Documentation / Books:

YouTube Channels: https://youtu.be/dfxrdoEQe00?si=fD0rWJidGuj2Vqub

A huge thanks to Abhishek Veeramalla and Mumshad Mannambeth for explaining difficult concepts in a simple and practical way. The guidance and structured learning approach made a massive difference in my preparation journey.

My Preparation Strategy

Here's roughly how I approached the exam:

  • Covered the complete syllabus once
  • Took notes while learning
  • Solved practice questions
  • Reviewed incorrect answers carefully
  • Focused heavily on weak topics during the final weeks
  • Repeated mock exams until I consistently scored well

One thing I learned is that certifications are not just about clearing an exam. They force you to build discipline, structured learning habits, and confidence in your skills.

Advice for Anyone Preparing

If you're currently preparing for this exam:

  • Don't compare your progress with others
  • Stay consistent even if you study only a little daily
  • Practice more than you consume content
  • Focus on understanding "why," not just "what"
  • Mock tests are extremely important

You absolutely can do it.
This achievement means a lot to me, and I'm grateful to everyone, resources, mentors, and communities that helped along the way.
On to the next challenge 🚀
