EXCLUSIVE: The latest player in the creator IP space, Volt Factor, is debuting with a range of high-profile partners.

TheBurntPeanutAlan Chikin Chow and That’s Amazing are among those working with Volt Factor, which is billing itself as a platform that will scale creators’ content into global brands. Volt Factor will represent their global licensing rights.

Volt Factor launches with a strategic advisory board drawn from the sports, toys, entertainment and capital industries. The co-founders are entrepreneur and licensing executive Elan Freedman, who will be CEO, and former YouTube executive Lindsay Hampton, who serves as President.

They’ve created the “on the belief that the creator economy is producing some of the most valuable intellectual property outside the legacy studio system, yet much of it remains commercially underdeveloped.” Volt Factor will provide operational infrastructure to turn creator-led ideas into global consumer brands.

“Enduring franchises don’t happen by accident – they are built with intention,” said Freedman. “The top creators are building IP with unrivaled audience development capabilities and Volt Factor exists to bring this community into the franchise world. I’m thrilled to partner with Lindsay, who is widely recognized for her long-standing relationships with talent, and is regarded by many of YouTube’s most influential creators as one of the platform’s most trusted voices.”

“Creators have built highly engaged global audiences and widely recognized IP, yet most lack the resources to fully capture the long-term value of what they’ve created,” added Hampton. “We started Volt Factor to change that. We work alongside creators and their teams, leading product strategy and execution, and managing the business backend so the brand can scale while creators focus on what they do best.”

At launch, Volt Factor represents global licensing rights for a select group of creators with strong identity, repeatable formats, and cross-category brand potential:

Its launch partners have hundreds of millions of subscribers and billions of views collectively. TheBurntPeanut is the #1 Twitch streamer and gaming personality, with more than three million followers, 300 million views and over 150,000 peak concurrent viewers across platforms including YouTube and Twitch.

That’s Amazing is founded by Wisconsin brothers Tommy and Matthew End, who run a multi-channel ecosystem. The collective has 40+ million followers, 22 billion lifetime views and up to 1.5 billion monthly views across five channels. That’s Amazing holds the Guinness World Record for the most-viewed YouTube Short (4.6 billion views).

Volt Factor’s founding advisers include Stephen Davis, former Chief Content Officer of Hasbro and President of Hasbro Studios & Consumer Products; Ken Black, former VP and Global Creative Director at Nike and co-founder of Nike SPARQ; Jim Lee, President and COO of Crunch Labs; and Ed Latessa, a seasoned operator and investor affiliated with Raptor Group and owner of The Latessa Corp.
