Today the OpenID Foundation is rolling out a refreshed interface for its conformance suite - the open-source tooling implementers use to validate OpenID Connect, FAPI, CIBA, OpenID for Identity Assurance, Authorization API, Shared Signals and OpenID for Verifiable Credentials implementations.
Following user research with Super User Studio. The Foundation has reworked the interface so first-time users can find their way without knowing how the suite works internally.
The most visible change is a new Guided mode. Users pick their ecosystem and the role their implementation plays. The suite then identifies the test plans they need and describes them in plain language.
For experienced users, the full configuration options remain in place. The tests, the certification process and the API are also unchanged.
