The man who died in a crash in Co Limerick on Sunday has been named locally, as several people were taken to hospital.

Bobby Ryan 'Minor', died in the two-vehicle collision, which occurred in east Limerick on the L1135 between Pallasgreen and Cappamore.

As gardaí continue to investigate, they have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.

It is understood the occupants of the other car were a family from Doon.

A young woman aged in her 20s and a teenage boy were also taken to UHL for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
