All traffic is end-to-end encrypted — the relay never sees your data. The relay server is open source.

  • Data is encrypted on your device before it hits our server, and decrypted only on your phone. The relay just passes it through.

  • All traffic runs over TLS — no unencrypted connections at all.

  • Pairing is done by scanning a QR code that contains the encryption key. It's never transmitted through any network.

  • Every new device must be approved by you on the host before it can connect.

One command on your machine — it connects to the relay and prints a QR code.

I was at the passport office for 3 hours today, and built a huge engineering feature. Love it man, absolutely love it.

I use Shellular to watch model training jobs on my GPU server, and to keep my Codex and Claude Code sessions going while I'm out. Not having to carry the laptop is the best part.
Anindyadeep SannigrahiCo-Founder, LiteFold
Shellular let me actually go out, hang with friends and chill in the park, and still feel unchained. Every agent session is right there no matter which folder, unlike some competitors.
