With new reports surfacing that New York Yankees‘ shortstop Anthony Volpe will return to the team either Wednesday or Thursday next week, there’s a lot to be excited about in the Bronx.
The Yankees are winners of their last eight games and are rolling through the American League right now. It’s fair to wonder how Volpe’s return may impact the current Yankees team, but at least he will start recording stats again at the big league level, and Yankees fans across the country can judge his performance based on good or bad he does.

The report surfaced Sunday afternoon that Anthony Volpe will return either Wednesday or Thursday next week.
New York is wrapping up a three-game weekend set with the Houston Astros on Sunday. After that, they will take on the Texas Rangers from Monday to Wednesday next week. Following that series, the Yankees face the Baltimore Orioles. The expectation is that Volpe returns either for the series finale against the Rangers or to open up the divisional matchup on Thursday against the O’s.

Anthony Volpe’s return could throw the team chemistry off, and if he struggles, the noise will get loud surrounding his role with New York.
