On Tuesday night, the Chicago Cubs are playing the San Diego Padres in California.

Dansby Swanson had one hit, two RBI’s and one stolen base in hit only at-bat of the night.

Swanson was taken out of the game in the second inning.

Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network wrote: “#Cubs Dansby Swanson left the game with a left glute cramp.”

Swanson came into the night batting .206 with six home runs, 21 RBI’s, 23 runs and one stolen base in 29 games.

He is in his fourth year playing for the Cubs.

The Cubs came into the night as the second-place team in the National League Central with a 17-12 record in 29 games.

They are coming off a 9-7 loss to the Padres (on Monday).

Swanson finished with two hits and walk in three at-bats.

The Cubs have one more game against the Padres before heading home to host the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday at Wrigley Field.
