Some history is about to unfold at Dover Motor Speedway this weekend — and not because the NASCAR All-Star Race is returning to “The Monster Mile.”

Friday night’s NASCAR Truck Series race is expected to feature Dynasty Spurlock, Toni Breidinger, and Natalie Decker in the same field, marking one of the most significant moments for women in NASCAR in recent years.

And for Spurlock, the weekend could become even bigger.

The 34-year-old driver is set to make more history at Dover after becoming the first Black woman to qualify for a NASCAR Truck Series race since 2010 last weekend at Watkins Glen.

Now, she heads to one of the toughest and most physically demanding tracks in all of NASCAR.

Three Women Expected in Friday Night’s Truck Series Race

The NASCAR Truck Series ECOSAVE 200 at Dover is capped at 36 trucks, meaning all three drivers are currently expected to make the race without needing to qualify on speed.

Spurlock is scheduled to drive the No. 69 Ford for MBM Motorsports and Garage 66. Breidinger will pilot the No. 27 Chevrolet for Rackley WAR, while Decker returns in the No. 22 Ford for Team Reaume.

The moment represents a major milestone for representation in NASCAR’s national touring series.

Back in 2020, six women competed during Daytona Speedweeks across NASCAR’s top divisions. But in the years since, seeing multiple women in the same national series race has become increasingly uncommon.

That changes Friday night under the lights at Dover.

Dynasty Spurlock’s Historic Rookie Journey Continues

Spurlock’s rise through motorsports has already turned heads across the racing world.

Before transitioning into stock cars, the Richmond, Virginia native built her background in motocross and drag racing. Earlier this season, she recorded top-10 finishes in ARCA competition at Kansas and Hickory.

Then came Watkins Glen.

Spurlock not only made the Truck Series field last weekend — she raced her way into it on speed, a major accomplishment for any rookie driver attempting to break into NASCAR’s national level.

Now comes Dover.

Known for its steep concrete banking, narrow racing grooves, and relentless physical demands, “The Monster Mile” has challenged even NASCAR’s biggest stars for decades. Drivers often compare surviving Dover to going “12 rounds with a heavyweight boxer.”

That’s what makes Friday’s moment feel even bigger.

Toni Breidinger and Natalie Decker Bring Experience to the Field

Breidinger continues building one of the most visible careers among women currently competing in NASCAR.

The 26-year-old became the first Arab-American woman to race in NASCAR’s national series last season and moved to Rackley WAR this year after previously competing for Tricon Garage. Before NASCAR, Breidinger earned multiple top-five finishes in ARCA competition and built one of the strongest development résumés among rising female drivers.

Meanwhile, Decker returns to the Truck Series with plenty of Dover weekend experience of her own.

Back in 2020, Decker recorded a fifth-place finish at Daytona — still one of the best finishes ever by a woman in NASCAR Truck Series history.

The Wisconsin native stepped away from full-time racing after becoming a mother, but she has continued making select starts over the past two seasons while balancing racing and family life.

Now, all three drivers are set to share the track Friday night at Dover in a race that could become one of the sport’s most memorable moments of the season.
