I am deeply honoured to be invited to participate in the 23rd Busan International Environmental Arts Festival (BIEAF) 2026 and to serve as a member of the Steering Committee for this remarkable international event.

Held under the inspiring theme “From Sun to Boy,” BIEAF brings together artists, curators, cultural leaders, and environmental advocates from around the world. The festival creates a unique space where art becomes a catalyst for dialogue, reflection, and awareness about our shared future.

Throughout my career, I have been fascinated by the relationship between humanity, identity, culture, and transformation.

Environmental art expands this conversation beyond the individual and invites us to consider our place within a larger ecosystem. It reminds us that creativity carries not only aesthetic value but also social and environmental responsibility.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Yousang Lee and the entire BIEAF team for this wonderful opportunity and warm invitation. It is a privilege to contribute to such an important international platform and to collaborate with artists who believe in the power of art to inspire change.

I look forward to meeting fellow participants, exchanging ideas, and taking part in what promises to be a truly meaningful event in Busan.
