You are who you are, I am what I am. But out similarities are far beyond your imagination.

One world spit in two in one moment of the history because of scientists’ an unexpected experiment. No one knew what would be going on and how it influenced the future path. However, something is obvious that there are two of you exist at the same time. You can try to imagine the scene where you encounter another ‘you’ having exactly the same DNA, appearance, even the completely identical childhood and memories. What would you think of this ridiculous and inconceivable situation? Perhaps you’ll be confused for a second then scream to death yelling from the bottom of heart, ‘how it is that possible, you must be kidding me!’

However, if I tell you this is truth, what’ll you do? And this drama shows various possibility. Different people make different decisions and take different actions. After all, it’s an old philosophical question - How to face yourself? Besides condering this, the drama also reflects the political conflict between two goverment holding different ideology.

This reminds me of George Orwell’s dictum: Who controls the past controls the future and who controls the present controls the past. The society are similar to the one in his famous dystopia novel 1984. There has a specialized institution supervise the society in case its people find the secret of the existence of counterpart world. Therefore, people’s past and future is completely controlled by the government.

The roles in the drama not only need to re-explore themselves but also have to break the government’s rules. And these really bring lots of thoughts to me.
