The Mila Community of Practice is a new initiative aimed at strengthening connections between Mila's research community, its partners, and AI experts across Quebec and Canada through in-person meetings and events focused on AI adoption in industry.
For this first edition, researchers and ML engineers will share their challenges, offering an inside look at the constraints faced in industry. The discussion will highlight how academic approaches can be adjusted to meet real-world needs, paving the way for deeper collaboration.
This in-person event will take place on October 23, 2025.
This event is free to attend, and coffee with pastries will be provided.
