‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ Competition Show Coming to Netflix
Ethan Shanfeld · 2026-06-23 · via Variety

A competition series inspired by the world of “Gabby’s Dollhouse” is coming to Netflix.

Hosted by Laila Lockhart Kraner, who played Gabby in the “Gabby’s Dollhouse” movie (and reprises the role here), the show follows young baker-and-maker duos as they compete in baking and crafting challenges that bring the Dollhouse to life.

Four holiday-themed episodes of the family-friendly competition will stream on Netflix later this year, with more episodes coming in 2027.

The show hails from DreamWorks Animation and B17 Entertainment, a part of Sony Pictures Television. It’s executive produced by Rhett Bachner and Brien Meagher, while Claire Kosloff is an executive producer and showrunner.

“Since ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ first premiered on Netflix in 2021, a world of creativity and imagination has exploded for our young audience and it only continues to grow” said co-creators Jennifer Twomey and Traci Paige Johnson. “We’ve been so lucky to continue playing and creating in the Dollhouse, with a fourteenth season coming to Netflix, and now a competition series that brings play to life in a new way.”

Netflix made the announcement as part of a slew of other news targeting single-digit-aged viewers. Season 14 of “Gabby’s Dollhouse” will air on Sept. 14, and the streamer also added more than 100 episodes of “Sesame Street” to the platform. Another batch of episodes will arrive in July.

On Aug. 10, “Dr. Seuss’ Red Fish, Blue Fish” Season 3 will premiere, and Season 2 of “Sheriff Labrador” will debut on Aug. 31. And Netflix has added “Bedtime Stories With Netflix Jr.,” a collection of soothing stories to help kids drift off to sleep.
