Avid Quest-goers, this may sound familiar: you’ve just completed a Discord Quest for that game you’re really into and have scored yourself a slick new avatar decoration for your efforts. But currently, any decorations received as a Quest reward expire after two months, when that decoration that perfectly fits your profile goes away, heading out to… wherever decorations go after their time is up. Maybe… 

Good news: we’re making a small-but-sweet update to some of the rewards you receive from completing Quests, notably the avatar decorations. Starting today, Nitro members with an active subscription will be able to keep many of their Quest-earned avatar decorations for longer than their standard two-month time limit. Plus, some Quest decorations that departed will be returning to your collection!

Anyone who claims a Quest-earned avatar decoration will be able to enjoy their reward for at least two months. After that, active Nitro members can continue to enjoy many of their decoration rewards for longer, with the amount of extra time varying between decorations. 

We’re working to make sure the majority of Quest avatar decorations offer extended availability, but not every Quest-earned avatar decoration will qualify. You can see if, or when, one of your claimed Quest decorations expires in the item’s description, in Profile Settings > Change Decoration.

‍If you aren’t currently a Nitro member or you’re a Nitro Basic or Classic member, you can subscribe or upgrade to Nitro to immediately start using your collected Quest decorations again.

This extension isn’t limited to the newest Quest rewards… we’re bringing back some of the previously-available Quest avatar decoration rewards! Take a peek at your avatar decoration collection to see which Quest rewards you’ve previously earned may have returned.
