Hello I'm Garry. I'm a video game developer and owner of facepunch. You probably know us best as the creators of the sandbox game Garry's Mod and the survival game Rust.
Before facepunch I worked as a php and front end web developer for a group of dating websites. Before that I was mostly unemployed, but did work in a bike factory, call center, lock factory and as a painter and decorator with my dad.
I am married to Sarah and we have two kids together.

I've been running this blog for over 20 years. Sometimes I think it's outlived its purpose, and I'm embarrassed by a lot of it, but I can't bring myself to completely kill it. I know that I will regret it if I do.
Although talking to people in real life, twitter's existence and our own facepunch blogs have mostly satisfied any urge I have to write blogs, I will occasionally feel the need to post something here, so I'll keep it around for those special occasions.
