This past June the Nova Scotia Guard launched a new volunteer management system. After an extensive review of numerous volunteer management platforms, Better Impact was the selected platform to support the Nova Scotia Guard.
This past spring, the Nova Scotia Guard team hit the road, making 12 stops in communities across the province to meet with members face-to-face. Over 300 members attended the sessions during the tour, representing communities from one end of the province to the other. During the sessions members received the latest updates on the Guard, participated in basic Trunked Mobile Radio (TMR) communications training and had a training overview of the new volunteer management system.
